The Macon Economic Development Commission (MEDC) is responsible for recruiting new industries to Macon, Bibb County as well as assisting existing companies with expansion projects. MEDC is the ‘single point of contact’ between companies looking for sites and buildings in Macon and Bibb County. MEDC will coordinate with the local and state agencies involved in the site location process.
